This cooling system method is location-based; it is deployed in a geographical area with low temperature to enable the formation & of cold water to decrease the temperature. It also reduces the energy consumption of the data centers.

The building of the ice storage system is cost-effective because its location is deep underground, and it requires low storage space and construction costs.

Warm water forthcoming from the servers is pre-cooled using the proposed cooling model “ice storage system.” It lessens the cooling load in the chiller, reducing the power consumption used for the data center cooling.

Transferring the waste heat to a fluid very close to the point of generation rather than transferring it to air or from the point of generation to the cooling system and from the cooling system to air is called direct liquid cooling. This cooling mechanism’s deployment demands installing cooling coils directly onto the rack to capture & remove waste heat.

Some of the proposed approaches in these mechanisms can get deployed based on a water cooling system. In these systems, the water circulates the components, like processing units where the heat increase is noticeably higher.
